Attendee Travel Funding
ISAC is committed to making CYTO 2026 accessible to scientists from around the world. Through funding opportunities and travel awards, ISAC remains dedicated to helping scientists share their work, connect with peers, and contribute to the global cytometry community.
Student and SRL Jr. Travel Awards
ISAC has established a fund for Students and Junior Shared Resource Lab (SRL) staff whose abstracts have been approved for either oral or poster presentation at CYTO and who require financial assistance to attend. Interested students and staff are required to submit an abstract and be accepted for presentation at the conference.

Students:
ISAC members enrolled in a full time undergraduate or graduate program are eligible. Curriculum vitae and proof of enrollment must be included with the Student Travel Award Application.
- Abstract submission is mandatory for the Travel Award.
- The required application material, including your abstract, must be submitted using the abstract submission site by the abstract submission deadline.
- Notification to award applicants will be sent following abstract acceptance.
The value of the Travel Award is at the discretion of ISAC. It is the responsibility of each approved applicant to cover any additional cost for attendance at CYTO not covered by this travel award.
CYTO Family Care Assistance
CYTO Family Care assistance for up to $500 per family is available for in person attendance at CYTO. The purpose of this assistance is to provide families with flexible financial assistance that can be applied towards extra expenses incurred for dependent care during the meeting. Meetings and conferences play a significant role in the professional development of young and experienced scholars alike. Attending CYTO allows cytometry professionals to enhance their research, forge new relationships with others, share knowledge, and help inspire the next generation of students to pursue a career in cytometry. The goal is to reduce attendance-related barriers and increase participation within our diverse community.
